MBGDesk India
MBGDesk India builds websites, applications and AI automation for Indian businesses, then runs the SEO and Google Business Profile work that makes them findable. Our head office is in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, and India is where the company operates from.
India is where MBGDesk is based rather than a market we sell into from elsewhere, and that shows in how the work is scoped. The assumptions that hold here — about devices, payment rails, lead channels and how buyers first make contact — are different enough from Western markets that a strategy imported wholesale tends to optimise for the wrong things.
Indian businesses commissioning digital work run into a specific pattern. The website is built as a brochure and then judged on enquiries it was never structured to produce. The enquiries that do arrive come through WhatsApp, a phone call, an IndiaMART listing or JustDial — none of which appear in the analytics the agency reports on. And the site is tested on a developer's laptop while customers arrive on mid-range Android handsets over mobile data, which is what Google's page experience measurement actually reflects.
When this work makes sense
Questions worth asking any supplier
Does the agency measure performance on a mid-range Android over mobile data, or on their own machine?
Do they work on the Google Business Profile as well as the site? For most local Indian businesses the profile generates more calls than the website.
Is WhatsApp treated as a primary conversion channel or bolted on as a floating button?
Will they integrate with Zoho or whichever CRM you actually run, rather than assuming Salesforce or HubSpot?
Do they quote a low monthly fee with guaranteed rankings? That combination is widespread here and is the clearest signal to look elsewhere.

Process
Indian engagements begin by mapping where enquiries currently arrive. For most clients a material share comes through WhatsApp, direct calls, IndiaMART or JustDial — channels that analytics does not see. Establishing that split before any build or campaign prevents the common outcome where traffic improves and the business notices no difference, because the enquiries were never arriving through the pages being worked on.
The standard nine stages — discovery, strategy, UX/UI, development, content and SEO, testing, launch, measurement, continuous improvement — apply to every project. The paragraph above is what differs for this one.
What moves the number
Pricing depends on scope, functionality, integrations and content requirements. These are the factors that change it most:
Working with MBGDesk India, a freelancer, or a large agency
Freelancer
Fits: Small budgets and a single well-defined deliverable
Limits: Single point of failure; support and continuity depend on one person's availability
MBGDesk
Fits: Businesses wanting the build and the search visibility handled by one team
Limits: We decline work outside our capability — blockchain, game development and large-scale cloud engineering are not services we offer
Large agency
Fits: Enterprise programmes needing scale and formal account structures
Limits: Higher cost; your work is often delivered by the most junior available team

Frequently asked questions
Where is MBGDesk based in India?
Our head office is at Road No. 36, Plot No. 1202 & 1215A, 3rd Floor, SL Jubilee, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad 500033, Telangana. We work with businesses across India and can be reached on +91 98666 38967 or at in@mbgdesk.com.
Do you work with businesses outside Hyderabad?
Yes, across India. Most of the work is delivered remotely regardless of city, and we are equally set up for clients in Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi NCR or a district town.
What does a website cost in India?
It depends on scope, functionality, integrations and how much content needs writing. A five-page business site and a custom application are different orders of magnitude. We give a real number against your requirement rather than a headline price.
Do you handle GST invoicing?
We build platforms that issue GST-compliant invoices where that is required, configured to what your accountant specifies. We do not advise on your tax position — that is their job and we build to their instruction.
Can you integrate WhatsApp properly?
Yes, through the WhatsApp Business Platform rather than a floating link. In India it is frequently the main channel through which enquiries arrive, so it is designed as a conversion path and its clicks are tracked.
We rely on IndiaMART. Should we change that?
Not abruptly. It produces enquiries and stopping would cost you those. The realistic aim is building your own channel alongside it so the balance shifts over time, rather than replacing a working source of leads with a promise.
Do you offer the cheapest rates?
No, and we would be wary of anyone competing on that here. The Indian market has considerable price pressure, and the lowest quotes usually reflect what is being left out — testing, accessibility, performance work and post-launch support.
